Alvin Rose

He was a devout father to his daughter Florinda Frigiano, son in law Ralph, and a cherished grandfather to RJ and Carissa. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Annmarie Rose, nieces Linda, Barbara Jean, Karen and nephew Bobby. His sister-in-law Joan Frisoli and her children, Regina, Joseph, Al, Florence and Joe. He was a loving great uncle to Jaclyn, Michael, Becca, Elizabeth and Huu and his great-great niece and nephew Isidore and Margot. In 1951 he served in the US Army for 2 years. Alvin was employed as a Tractor Trailer Driver for the food industry for over 40 years with an exceptional driving record. He was a member of St. Pancras Church for 67 years. He was also an active member of the Kiwanis Club and a great grill master. He was a wonderful neighbor and will be missed by all.

A visitation for Alvin will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Werst & LaBella Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave, Glendale, NY 11385. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Pancras Church-Glendale, 72-22 68th Street, Glendale, NY 11385. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Charles/Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11735.
