Dear Nana. Today  September 9, 2022, is a very sad day for all  in the Family. We are saying good bye, but one day we shall see each other again, it’s the Lords promise. You went ahead to be with the Lord. Rest in Peace Nana.

There are times in this life that we know where we are but surprisingly never we don't know whenever it's goes but the Good Shepherd Knows what exactly what he had to do. He came to pick up her best beautiful rose for his perfect garden in Heaven. My heart  and Prayers goes out to the Santiago family and the Feliz family and most of all to Ana's mother and my nieces and nephew Brooke, Samantha and Aiden,may the Good Lord keep them forever under his unchanging hands.. We always had a good time when we got together ❤️

When I heard the news you was no longer with us I did not know how to react, we had spoken to get together after you got out and now all have is your voice messages. You was my rock, you always new what to say to make me feel better, you always lifted me up when I felt like I couldn’t no more. We spoke just about everyday giving each advice and pushing each other’s to take them risk we were to scared to take. You was my best friend better yet like a mother to me, I could talk you about anything and everything and I must say these last few weeks from when we last spoke has been so hard because I’ve caught myself ready to text or call you only to remember I won’t get a response and I was okay with that because I had faith you would be here with us again but the lord had other plans and I ask him to give your babies the strength and guidance to get through these hard. I love you Anna always and for ever, this isn’t good but until we meet again.

My sister was a funny, supportive, and great human being. 

I am going to miss her but I know she will always be around me spiritually. 

It’s not a goodbye but see you next lifetime. 

This pic was taken 5 years at Canarsie Park on  Seaview Avenue. Anna and I met in Canarsie HS our Freshman year in September, 1992. I would have never thought then that a total stranger in a new environment would become my best friend in life. Anna, is like the favorite cousin who brightens up your day with her presence and her undivided attention. Nana, as she fondly called by her family was more than just my best friend, she was and will always be my Sunshine because whenever I was having a bad day or not feeling well, when I heard from her I always felt better and my day was brighter. Her infectious smile could light up the room and warm the coldest heart, that was her gift to the world. She was kind, sweet, sincere, honest, loving, hardworking and generous. There will never be another Anna Santiago and I will never have another Sunshine. I share the pain the Santiago Family and her 3 Children Brook Lynn, Samantha and Aiden; their Mom was Awesome and I will carry her in my heart for the rest of my days.
