Charles H. Grunder, of Forest Hills; passed away on July 6th 2014 at 85 years of age. Born in Brooklyn, Charles served in the U.S. Navy in the closing days of World War II, aboard the U.S.S. Saipan. He was the beloved husband of Genevieve (nee Rollo) and loving father of Charles L. Grunder. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday, 10:00am at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church (Forest Hills). Interment to follow at Saint John Cemetery (Middle Village).
