Our dearest Uncle David (Tio Pacho) was an incredibly kind and loving soul. He was always present with the family, a truly family-oriented man who supported his loved ones in every way. Whether through regular visits or holiday gatherings, Uncle David was a steady, supportive and loving presence.

Together with his late wife, Rosa, David opened his heart and home by fostering children, showing incredible generosity and compassion. Patient and loving, his kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

David was a man of deep faith, hardworking, and respected for his honesty and integrity. He was devoted to his family, cherishing his siblings, nieces, and nephews. He loved his parents deeply and held a special place in his heart for Grandma. He leaves behind beautiful memories and a legacy carried on by his children.

Our parents, including our father who loved him as a brother and our mom who loved him dearly, never thought he would leave us so soon. Every Saturday, he would come to the house, bringing joy and laughter with his visits. Our siblings also loved him deeply, and his presence brought warmth and happiness to all our lives.

Our dad always says Uncle David had a kind and old soul—he was always mature beyond his years, offering wisdom and love in every moment. We will forever miss his gentle presence, his warm smile, and his unwavering love.

It is heartbreaking to see him go, but we find comfort knowing he is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Rosa, his parents, and his brothers who passed before him. His memory lives on in our hearts, and the moments we shared will be cherished forever.

Growing up, he would give us 20 kisses—each of us twins would kiss his opposite cheek, totaling 40 kisses. So, 40 kisses from us to you in heaven, Tio Pacho
He always gave us 20 kisses in return.

Ay Big David, que mucha falta hace. Getting here to the apartment in Bushwick and you not being in the room while I yell, "BIG DAVID mira quien llego" and see you do that puff sound and cover your head is what I will miss most. I got a kick out of bother you and how you would laugh when I did. When Ma passed away I wish I could of help mend your broken heart. The love you both shared was one of a kind. I take solice knowing you both are together forever now and to that I say, "UN PALITO POR ESO".  See you when I get there.

One special memory I remember so well is on this day from this pic uncle David’s brother Manuel Aka Pichie was in the hospital and I remember him looking at me talking to me about how proud he was of the women I became and telling me how much he missed titi Rosie the sorrow in his eyes of how much he loved his wife and how much he missed her was so deep I felt his pain I knew he would never be the same, But now he’s with her reunited with his queen Rosie the love of his life . We will see him again in heaven Always and forever in our hearts  🙏🏼🪽🪽

Losing someone  we love is never easy,we must take comfort in knowing that Big David is in a better place with all those he loved and pain free. Big David came into moms life who already had 5 children ,a single man with no children. Never did he disrespected nor  made us feel uncomfortable  then David came along we spoiled him And Liz jealous 😊  Big David this  isn't goodbye but hasta luego cuando esas puertas del Cielo habra le cantara a Mami ,Por mujeres como tu hay hombres como yo aqui estoy.

When I think of tio David I think of him calling all of his children and neices and nephews his "baby." I remember tio always giving us advice and so protective of all of us. 
The last time I spent time with tio was in the picture above it was on Saturday, December 16, 2017 I had a holiday party. I was so happy and surprised to see tio at our party. Something you may not know is that tio was my godfather. I learned to really love my family fiercely from tio he loved his family. There's so much more I want to share, if you knew him you respected him and loved him.
Tio David was loved - love never ends his legacy continues with all his children, grandchildren, neices, nephews , and of course the rest of the family let's continue to make him proud.
