George F. Schnell, of Glendale, passed away on January 19th 2012. Born in Brooklyn, he served with the U.S. Army during WWII, in the Pacific & the Phillipines. Mr. Schnell is survived by his wife, Evelyn (nee Stieger) and his 2 children, Maryanne & Edward. He was a loving grandfather to his 3 grandchildren. A Masonic service will be conducted Saturday evening (Jan 21st); a memorial service will take place Sunday evening at 7:30pm. Interment will be Monday at Calverton National Cemetery, on Long Island.
