Giovanna Romeo (nee Giresi), of Middle Village; passed away on February 21st 2015, at 67 years of age. Born in Italy, Giovanna was the beloved wife of Benedetto Romeo and loving mother of Phyllis Romeo, Lisa DeMasi & Diana Romeo. She was the dearest grandmother of Alisia Van Salibury, Michael DeMasi and Daniel DeMasi. Mrs. Romeo is also survived by her dearest sisters Maria, Josephine, Theresa, Lucia and Natalie, brother Stefano and special cousin Angela. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Wednesday (Feb. 25th), 10:00am at Saint Margaret's R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Saint John Cemetery.
