Hector Lopez Jr.

Hector Lopez Jr., 61, passed away on September 16, 2026. Born on August 6, 1965, Hector was the son of Hector Ramos Lopez and Carmen Maria Reyes. He was one of seven children, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and later resided in Elmira, New York.

Those who knew Hector remember a man who was deeply beloved—steady in his care for others, generous in spirit, and marked by a kind-hearted warmth that could be felt in even the simplest moments. He carried himself with the strength of a hard-working life, and with a determination that could be, at times, unmistakably stubborn—yet it was always rooted in devotion, loyalty, and a truly big heart.
