Dear Janet and Family,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Mom. Helen was truly a kind, sweet, and cordial person.
I first met her in the 60's when she was working at Hoge's, serving dinner to all the soccer players, after their Sunday games. It was always a pleasure to see her, as she always had a smile on her face.
We met many times, in Ridgewood. Franklin Square, Walden and wherever the Gottscheers met.
She was truly a social butterfly. May your memories bring you peace and comfort. Love and prayers, Katie Jonke

Helen worked for me at LaGuardia Community College. After leaving the college, we remained good friends for 20 years. I remember going to see her and she made me meatballs and Spaghetti. I still remember that because she was a great cook. It was so good that I asked her for a second helping. I loved Helen . She was my good friend and I would always call her her for advice. Rest In Peace, you will always have a place in my heart.
