Helen Wilshusen (Nana) was a one of a kind soul, her smile bringing joy to all those around her. Nana was the strongest woman you could ever meet — losing her eldest son, Freddy, far too soon, surviving lung cancer, and losing her husband, Fred. Yet, she still moved through her life journey with such grace.
Nana would go above and beyond for her family. All of her happiest moments came from feeding, caring for, and loving her family. She was the glue that held everyone together, a beautiful woman with a heart of gold.
She will be forever missed by her family. She will be remembered by her son, Keith; her daughter in law, Lynn; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittney, and Michelle; and her great-grandchildren, Jayden, Anthony, Ariella, Isabella, and Luca. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara, and Barbara’s husband, Mike, as well as Colleen.
May the angels welcome her with open arms into Heaven. We find comfort knowing she is reunited with her son, her grandson, and her husband . Singing, dancing, and making ham sandwiches, just like she loved to do.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will live on in all of us
