Born to Dora Logemann and William Jark, Henry grew up with a strong sense of duty and resilience that would guide him throughout his life. At just 17 years old, he answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Marine Corps and serving honorably during the Korean War. His time in the service was a source of great pride and shaped the discipline and character that defined him.
Following his military service, Henry built a long and steady career with Preston Trucking, where he worked for over 30 years. Known for his reliability and strong work ethic, he earned the respect of his colleagues and formed lasting friendships along the way.
Henry found great enjoyment in fishing, and later in life spending time watching his favorite television programs. He will be remembered as a beloved uncle, brother, reliable friend and neighbor whose steady presence meant so much to those around him.
Henry is survived by his brother, William Jark, and sister-in-law, Jean; his niece, Erin Girardin, nephew -in- law, Michael; and his cherished great-nieces, Rebecca and Colleen. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
