Imogen loved cats, babies, music, her friends, and her family. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, she was an eighth grader at the Summit School in Jamaica, Queens. To her brothers, Imogen was a caring, considerate, and protective sister. To her parents, Imogen was a lively, creative, intelligent, passionate soul. She enjoyed learning American Sign Language and playing around on her ukelele. To everyone she met, she was a person with a bright smile, a quick mind, and an enormous heart. In addition to spending time with the lucky pets and friends she surrounded herself with, Imogen crafted, cooked, and cosplayed; she attended New York Comic Con 2023 as Madoka Kaname. Imogen brought light wherever she went, shining love and compassion on the world around her. Imogen was an accomplished artist and studied at the Pratt Institute Saturday Art School for the past five years, working mainly in alternative media. Her life in New York City was her canvas. Imogen loved presents — giving and receiving — and her laughter was a gift. She hated missing out on things and will be infinitely missed.
Services will be held from 3:00 – 8:00pm on Saturday, January 20, at Werst & LaBella Funeral Home (7141 Cooper Ave, Ridgewood, NY, 11385).
