John Simonetti

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Simonetti, his parents Marie and Edward, and his two brothers, Harold and Peter Simonetti. Though he endured profound loss in his lifetime, he remained a steady and loving presence to those around him.

He is survived by his two children, John Simonetti and Laura Simonetti. John’s son, John, together with his wife Tiffany Simonetti, blessed him with two cherished grandchildren, Ethan and Sabrina Simonetti. Being their Papa was one of his greatest joys, and he embraced that role with warmth, pride, and unwavering love.

John also shared a meaningful companionship with Noreen Novack, who brought comfort and friendship into his life.

For his entire professional career, John worked as a dedicated insurance broker at AXA Equitable, where he built lasting friendships with his colleagues.

Outside of work, John had a deep love for baseball and was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees. Whether watching a game or sharing stories about his favorite team, this passion was a constant thread throughout his life.

John will be remembered for his steady presence, his devotion to family, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

John will have a visitation at Werst & LaBella Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave, Glendale, NY 11385, US, on May 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Matthias church on Tuesday May 12th, 2026 at 10:15 am.
