Joseph Kern, of Ridgewood; passed away on April 16th 2012 at 87 years of age. A native of Austria, Mr. Kern is survived by his wife, Else and a son Helmut. He is the beloved grandfather of Nichole Smith. a Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at Miraculous Medal R.C. Church (Ridgewood) on Friday, April 20th at 9:45am. Interment to follow at Linden Hill Methodist Cemetery.
