Josip Trupeljak

Josip worked as a building superintendent for more than 40 years, a role he took great pride in. Known for his strong work ethic and reliability, he was always willing to lend a helping hand and formed lasting connections with many people throughout the years.

He had a deep love for music and enjoyed singing and dancing whenever the moment allowed. Known for his sense of humor, Josip brought laughter and lightness to those around him and had a way of making everyday moments feel special.

Family meant everything to him. He adored his wife and treasured the life they built together. He was a loving and devoted father who cared deeply for his daughter, and he found great joy in his grandchildren, whose laughter brightened his days.

Josip will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, humor, and the love he shared with his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Zivka; his daughter, Vesna; his grandchildren, Nikola and Dijana; and extended family and friends who will carry his memory forward.

For those who wish to send flowers in Josip's honor, please have them arrive to the funeral home by 12pm on Sunday, March 8th.

Visitation will be held at Werst & LaBella Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave, Glendale, NY 11385, US, on March 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  

A Committal Service will take place at All Faiths Cemetery, 67-29 Metropolitan Ave, New York, NY 11379, US, on March 9, 2026, at 11:30 am.
