Marianne Metzger Lukas passed away on June 26, 2022 following a battle with kidney disease. She was uniquely loved by her family and had an easy way with all she met. Generous to a fault, those close to her will remember her love of all things raspberry and white chocolate, her adoration of Thanksgiving leftovers and her pragmatic approach to pretty much everything.
In addition to her kind words and quick wit - she had a uniquely steely resolve. One that allowed her steady perseverance - showing up, day-in and day-out in the face of life’s challenges. The family will uniquely miss her open heart, acquired wisdom, sage-life advice and uniquely perfected arm- crossing. You were never in doubt with what she was thinking and her genuine care - particularly if accompanied by her signature eye-roll.
