Beloved daughter of Fred and Katarina. Devoted wife of Edward (retired FDNY, USMC). Loving mother of Catherine (Brian), Karen (Brian), Thomas (Jackie), and Susan (Robert). Adored grandmother of Erin (Adam), Ryan (Nancy), Brian, Lauren (Pete), Kaitlin (Breandan), Brittany (Kevin), Taylor (Zach), Emma (Caleb), Robert and Kelli. Marion was also blessed with 12 Great Grandchildren—Joseph, Elijah, Thomas, Kellan, Kenzie, Wyatt, Keira, Charlotte, Kyler, Greyson, Violet & Kendall.
Marion was very active in Scouting at St. Pancras, and enjoyed cheering her children on in their various pursuits. Marion loved globe-trotting with Ed around the world. Her happiest times were when she was cooking for her family. Her favorite pastimes included watching Jeopardy and cheering on the NY Mets. A long-time Glendale resident, they later retired to the Pocono Mountains. Marion and Ed moved back to NY several years ago to be closer to her family. If you were lucky enough to know Marion, you also knew her unconditional love, generosity, and warm embrace. Marion’s parting words to us were “I’ve had an amazing life”, and we couldn’t agree more.
