Ralph Joseph Gengo Jr. was born on March 14th, 1931 in the Bronx, New York, to parents Ralph Joseph Gengo Sr. and Felicia Milello. He had 3 brothers and 1 sister, Anthony, William, Nancy, and Robert.
Ralph loved and lived life to the fullest from the beginning and until the very end. He was a generous and loving husband, father, and friend. He loved to play and coach youth in baseball, football, and golf, where he made a difference in the lives of his family and many young boys growing up in an often-challenging environment in the suburbs of NY. Ralph was an Army veteran, who served during the Korean conflict, a semi-pro baseball player for the St. Louis Browns, a social, active man who was deeply involved in his community through the VFW Post. He enjoyed music, the Rat-Pack, and soft shoe tap dancing. His family and friends will always remember him as an unconditional, loyal, trustworthy, and joyful person.
