Ronald Thomas Haas Jr.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Virginia, his beloved son Tristan, and his faithful “furry” companion Kozi. He also leaves behind his mother, Mary of Glendale and sister GinaMarie of Westchester. He was preceded in death by his younger brother Scott and his father who was also his namesake.

Ronnie was a strong family man, who loved spending time at home with his wife, son and sweet Kozi. He lived in the Ridgewood/Glendale area for his entire life and could often be seen walking everywhere and running errands. He was a proud parent, a devoted husband and a cherished son, always there to help his mother to bring in packages or with whatever else she needed.

Growing up, Ronnie loved playing baseball and being outside with the kids from the neighborhood. More recently he found a new passion with vegetable gardening, growing tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers amongst other things.

He will be remembered for his generous smile and his kind words for everyone.

A private ceremony will be held with family September 3, 2025.
