

Rosemarie Korth, 87, of Glendale, New York, passed away on July 16, 2026. Born February 6, 1939, Rosemarie will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege to know her.
Rosemarie was a devoted wife to her late husband, John Korth, sharing 35 years of marriage before his passing in 1994. She was a caring mother to her son, John (Cindy) Korth, and daughters, Jacqueline (Kevin) Cahill, and Donna (Chris) Haran. Her love for family only grew with each generation; she was the proud and cherished grandmother of Rebecca (Marcos), Amanda Lynn (Marc), Sabrina (Alex), Julie, Alexandra (Spencer), Andrew (Cheyanne), and Erik(Alyssa), and a loving great-grandmother to Rhys. She was a cherished best friend to her sister, Nancy. Rosemarie was the beloved sister-in-law and friend to Carol and Richie. And leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Family was at the center of her life, and she gave of herself with a steady generosity, a thoughtful presence, and a compassion that never sought recognition.
A devout Catholic, Rosemarie’s faith was unwavering. She served as a sacristine at St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church, offering her time with quiet devotion and a sincere, faithful spirit.
Rosemarie also found comfort and joy in simple, meaningful pursuits. She loved to color and created beautiful artwork, a reflection of the patient, considerate way she approached the world. Even in difficult circumstances, she carried herself with resilience and strength, meeting life with steadiness and an ability to hold on to what was good. Her selfless concern for others remained constant; even in her last days, she would still ask, “Are you okay? how are you feeling,” offering care before accepting it.
Rosemarie is reunited with the love of her life, John. Her mother and father, Anna and Jacob; her brother, James and sister, Theresa. She is also reunited with her beloved mother and father-in-law, Catherine and John. She will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege to have known her.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Rosemarie's family asks that you share a joyful meal or Rosemaries favorite, a strawberry ice cream cone, while sharing memories of her together with your loved ones.
