Sonia was a beloved mother to Remy ( Yessika)Encarnacion , Ivan (Samara) Romano, and Paul (Denisse) Romano. She was a loving grandmother to Karemy, Valentina, Alaia, and Jackson.
Known for her culinary skills, Sonia was the best cook. She was loving and nurturing, yet strong and feisty, with a lion heart. Her humor and intelligence were cherished by those who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Werst & LaBella Funeral Home, located at 71-41 Cooper Ave, Glendale, NY 11385, on February 10, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Sonia will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
