I knew Teresa when she was an analyst at AB and I worked in investor relations at Walmart. She was tenacious in her research and she asked tough questions because she was committed to the highest standards of looking at everything she could. She was smart and thoughtful and always looked out for her investors. She also could laugh a lot when the Q&A wasn't happening. My sincere condolences to her family; she left the world at too young an age. RIP Teresa; heaven has gained an angel.

Terri was my manager, colleague, and friend at Neuberger Berman for ten years. She was a wonderful boss: kind, supportive, and always willing to make time to teach and tell a story. Terri spent a quarter century at Neuberger, which says a lot about her loyalty and her stamina, since staying that long at one Wall Street firm is rare. "That makes me a dinosaur," she would joke.

I always loved walking into Terri's office. Her desk and shelves were full of papers, notes, company reports, corporate memorabilia, and other curious artifacts. It might have looked like chaos, but Terri knew exactly where everything was. She could pull out a company report from the 1990s or notes from a conference years earlier, and there was always a story to go with it.

Terri was a talented analyst. Her analysis went beyond the numbers, which she could easily keep in her head – she had a gut feeling for talented managers who could grow or rebuild a business. That instinct helped her spot companies at inflection points, earn great returns, and just as importantly, avoid disasters. Terri never shied away from asking the tough question in a crowded investor meeting, but she always did it with grace. Her directness, wit, and intellectual curiosity earned her the respect and admiration of many CEOs and investors.

Terri also had a great sense of style, which came with the territory for a retail analyst. "I shop for a living," she liked to say. I never saw her wear the same outfit twice, yet she was never flashy. Long before there were apps for it, she could combine clothes, jewelry, and shoes into looks that were interesting and understated.

No surprise that Bottomless Closet was a perfect calling for Terri. She spoke about that work with great love and passion, and I was lucky to see her honored at its luncheon. Terri touched so many lives with her kindness, generosity, and wonderful spirit.

Teresa was one of the first volunteers I met at Bottomless Closet and I immediately connected with her. I admired her professional accomplishments, how thoughtfully she worked with our clients, her great style and her focus on fitness. I got emotional watching her accept her Volunteer of the Year Award. She made great contributions to this world in the too short time she was with us.

I am beyond sorry for your loss. Teresa brought joy and light into every room she entered and the first room I saw her light up was my office, at Bottomless Closet. I hadn't been there very long when Teresa started as a volunteer,  and she came to my desk to tell me she wanted to take part in a fundraising campaign where she could sell her jewelry and we would get a percentage of the funds. Well, Teresa being Teresa, she sold the jewelry (which was probably an excuse to get more jewelry lol) and donated ALL of the funds and gave me a lovely card telling me how nice it had been to get to know me. That was the start of what would be a very meaningful friendship for me. Beyond just her amazing generosity of spirit to our clients and being a wonderful Career Coach, she was such a fun and interesting person to be around. We chatted about so many things - books and writing and of course running, which was a passion of both of ours. She was so kind when I got injured and couldn't run the marathon in 2024 and so incredibly happy and supportive when I finished the marathon last year. One thing I will always remember is her face when we told her she was volunteer of the year and how there were tears - not only hers, I may add. I remember tears too over lunch in the lovely restaurant in The Apsley, when we held hands and talked about Bottomless Closet and how many people she had helped (though she always said she got more than she gave). There is a big Teresa shaped hole in the universe where she should be but I am so grateful to have known her and for her to have been part of our world for the last 8 years. I was a friend of Teresa’s through Bottomless Closet.  We met sorting  and steaming donated clothing in the back of a small  space on 52nd Street.  During Covid four of us stayed connected through zoom and supported each other through difficult times.  Teresa had a quick wit and a warm heart.  She had great style: her spikey hair; her quirky taste in clothes and jewelry.  Even after her illness struck, she was still Teresa.  I will miss her.

The entire Bottomless Closet community mourns the loss of our beloved volunteer, Teresa. She was an incredible volunteer, donor, supporter and friend to so many at our organization. Her dedication to Bottomless Closet empowered countless women on their journeys towards self-sufficiency. Teresa leaves behind a heartfelt legacy in the impact she made on each and every one of the women whose lives she touched. She will be missed by all of us! Our deepest condolences to the entire family. We are grateful for the donations that will be directed to us in Teresa’s memory and will endeavor to build more success stories in her spirit. May her memory be a blessing.

My own illness is keeping me prisoner in Rehab, so all I can use is the written word.  Terri has been my dearest friend for 20 years.  I've been there from the beginning of that "miserable disease," and hoped to be close even at the end.  But that was not to be.  She called our friendship the gift of the transit strike.  And she truly was a gift! Of course she is singing in God's choir, and i can hear her voice echoing in my mind and my soul.

i WAS A MEMBER Of  St Pancras choir until I left NY 27 years ago.  Terry was a good friend, kind hearted with a beautiful voice.  I know she is singing with the angels.  Rest in peace dear fiend.

Thankful for the many Christmas, Easter and Sunday services and the lasting friendships and social occasions shared.  We will all miss you, T.  God has the perfect “Exsultet” leader of song for the heavenly choir!  Love you, m’dear.

There are no words I can express for this loss.  I am in Oklahoma.  I was planning to see Teresa on Monday October 5. I have my trip planned for NY. But I just found out.  I was Teresa’s Personal Trainer for close to 20 years.  She was a great friend.  I will miss her.

Terri and I were friends for over 50 years, meeting when we both attended Dominican Commercial HS.  She was an important part of our lives and we shared many happy and some sad events in those years.  We always kept in touch having lunches, dinners and even Zoom calls during COVID.  We will miss her terribly but take comfort that she is no longer suffering.  May she rest in the peace of our Lord.
