William Hanft, of Queens, passed away on December 18th 2017 at 77 years of age. Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Hanft was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Kirch), loving father of Billy (& Careen) and dearest grandfather of Lyla, Hunter & Harper. William is also survived by his brothers John & Edward. Also his brother in law Walter and his wife Judy. A service will take place Thursday, 7:30pm at the funeral home; officiated by Pastor Philip Hardt. Interment will take place Friday, at Calverton National Cemetery.
