

82, passed away at this home in Golden, Colorado on Sept 10, 2010. He was born on Apr 15, 1928 in Orient, South Dakota to Clara Augusta (Hargens) Kerber and Adolph R. Kerber, both from Nebraska. He married Joy Colleen Thompson on Nov 1, 1947, the love of his life. He served in the Korean War from 1946 to 1947. He worked in the Homestake Gold Mine in Lead, South Dakota for 18 years. He went on to be a Federal Mine Inspector until 1982. He is preceded in death by his son David Arnold, his daughter Debra Kay, three sisters; Eloise, JoAnn and Doris, and his brother Gerald. He is survived by his wife Joy who resides in the Bear Creek Nursing Home in Morrison, Colorado, two sisters; Rhoda Rombough and Jeannie Lundholm and his children; Kathleen J. Jacobs, Robert J. Kerber, Anita M. Kerber, Doris A. Brinkman, Janet L. Jones, Gerald A. Kerber and Donald W. Kerber. He also has 15 grand children and 11 great grand children, whom he loved dearly.
