
after having a series of strokes shortly after
Christmas. His family was at his side. He
was born in Logan, Kansas and his family
moved to Golden when he was 3. He lived in
the area for the rest of his wonderful life. He
graduated from Golden High School, where
he excelled in wrestling and other sports. After
high school, he joined the Army and
served in Korea. He retired from Coors Brewing
after working there 40 years. He was preceded
in death by his parents, stepmother,
brothers, Wayne and Keith and half-sister
Marjorie. He is survived by the mother of his
children, Norma Fisher, with whom he is still
great friends and her sister Bobbie Fisher.
Sons Terry and Larry and daughter Linda. He
has 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Byron has a lot of great friends. He
loved to be in the mountains, fishing, hiking
and hunting. He also went on a lot of nice
trips with his family. He will be missed
greatly-until we can be with him again.
