Carol May Soulier passed away peacefully on August 15, 2013 at age 71.
Carol was born May 2, 1942 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to Earnest and Rose Flagnelli. She was raised in Farrell, Pennsylvania. In addition to Pennsylvania, Carol lived in California, Las Vegas, Texas, Minnesota, Colorado and Wisconsin. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Carol's primary occupations were that of legal secretary and librarian. She also gave of her time as a volunteer trainer, at the Humane Society in Hayward, Wisconsin. Carol was married to Paul Soulier, an aerospace and computer engineer.
Both Paul and Carol are lovingly remembered by their children: Valerie Soulier and her four children, Angelee, Jaden, Brae and Lane; and Paul Soulier and his wife Kristen, and their two daughters, Emilie and Lily. Family, cooking and books were the passions of Carol's life. She was a tireless grandmother to her six grandchildren. Carol filled their homes with love, food and wonderful books.
Carol heroically battled breast cancer twice in her lifetime. Both times, she contributed in every way she could to assist in the research and treatment of the disease.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Paul Soulier; her parents, Earnest and Rose; her sister, Dorothy; and her brother, Martin.
