Carolyn Harrison

Services will be held at 12:00pm, on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Golden.

Private Burial will be held at the Golden Cemetery.

Carolyn was born in Okmulgee Oklahoma on June 18, 1928. She was raised in Tulsa Oklahoma and attended schools there including attending college in Stillwater Oklahoma at what is now Oklahoma State University. She was married to Dale Harrison on December 28, 1946 and they just celebrated their 65th anniversary..

They have four sons: Dan (Debbie) of Silt Colorado; Steve (Maureen) of Pine Colorado; Dave (Cindi) of Boulder Colorado and Rick (Vicki) of Dillon Montana. Carolyn had seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Golden and was on most of the committees there from time to time. Carolyn enjoyed lap swimming, as member number 1 at the Golden Rec Center, until a few weeks before she passed. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church in Golden, Gideon Books or the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center.
