Jeanette K Hervi

She was born to the late Edward and LaVerne Maler in Denver, Colorado on May 14, 1926 as an only child. Jeanette graduated from Leadville High School.

On October 27, 1950 she married her loving husband Walter Hervi. They were together for 55 years before his passing in 2005.

Jeanette worked in the banking industry as a Vice President for First National Bank of Golden until her retirement. She spent 11 years following her retirement volunteering at Avista Hospital. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Colorado Chapter No. 2. When Jeanette wasn’t volunteering, she enjoyed playing bridge and knitting, traveling with her husband, spending time with her grandson, family and many friends. Walter and Jeanette would spend their retirement RVing across the US and Canada, going on more than 25 cruises that took them to Panama, Alaska and the Caribbean.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter Wendy Jean (Scott) Anderson; grandchildren John Tyler Hervi Walker, Nathaniel Anderson, Kimberly Anderson and Caryn Fugitt.

Services for Jeanette will take place on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 3:30pm at Olinger Woods Chapel located at 1100 Washington Ave, Golden CO 80401.
