Born Marjorie Velma Burdick, April 30, 1920 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Graduated from Northeastern State College, Tahlequah, OK. with a B.S. 1942. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII, stationed in San Francisco from 1943 to 1945 when she was honorably discharged as Yeoman First Class. Married Robert E. Lewis of Pryor, Oklahoma in January, 1946. Widowed in 2003, she is survived by their four children: Sheryl Lynn, Barbara Carol, Myra Beth and Robert Clark Lewis. Marjorie passed away at the age of 91 in Golden, Colorado on December 16, 2011.
