Philip J. Konsella

Born near Emmetsburg, Iowa on December 30, 1933. A long time Golden, Colorado resident, Philip died December 29, 2010 after spending the holidays with his family. He was a 1955 graduate from The University of Denver. He enjoyed his Delta Sigma Pi fraternity brothers, skiing, The Broncos, DU Hockey, jazz festivals and being with his family. He lived life to the fullest even while battling Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis for the past 8 years. He is survived by Fran, the love of his life and wife of 51 years; his children Laurie, Steve, Terri and Frank and 5 grandchildren. The family suggests donations to The Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis at www.coalitionforpf.org. No services are planned at this time.
