Ruth Navant, 80, of Golden, Colorado, passed away on Monday, April 3rd. Ruth was born in Holland, Michigan, to her minister father and devoted mother, Andrew Meyer and Bertha Saaijenga. Ruth graduated from Scotland High School in 1954 before attending Yankton College, where she received her degree in education. Ruth taught for a short time before marrying Louis Navant and relocating to Denver, Colorado. Ruth owned and operated a child care center for 20 years, while enjoying her passions for fashion, cooking, art, and her grandchildren. Ruth is survived by 10 children and 16 grandchildren.
