Scott H. Potter

On Thursday, December 29, 2011, Scott Potter passed from this world. With love and tenderness, Scott leaves behind his devoted parents, Chris & Connie Potter of Lakewood, Colorado, an older brother, Jason Potter, a senior at CU-Boulder, and a twin brother and best friend, Michael Potter, also of Lakewood and a student at Green Mountain High School.

Scott was born on May 9, 1995 in Denver Colorado and grew to love the mountains and the countryside of his father’s Nebraska roots. He loved backpacking and hiking and being in nature. Scott loved animals, especially dogs, and was a sports enthusiast with a particular passion for playing baseball. Above all, his dream was to someday serve his country in the armed forces and to dedicate himself to a military life.

Services for Scott will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the WaterStone Community Church, 5890 South Alkire St. in Littleton, Colorado with Pastor Larry Renoe officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Green Mountain Foundation at Green Mountain High School, 13175 W. Green Mountain Dr., Lakewood, Colorado 80228 to be used for the purchase of bleachers at the school’s baseball facility in memory of Scott. Please note ‘for Scott Potter’ on donations.
