She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Sidney Chauvin; daughters, Deanne Holt (husband Mark), and Sherry Knight (husband Michael); 7 grandchildren, Kristy Doucet (Russ), Leslie Mabry (Price), Mathew Chauvin, Jefferey Wegner, Brandy Recio, Justin Holt, and Nicholas Holt; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Chauvin; mother, Aurore Chaisson Manzella; and brother, Robert Dawson.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11 am at St. Peter Catholic Church Mausoleum 1550 LA-44, Reserve, LA 70084.
