Anita Faye Hudson

Anita Faye Hudson (Smith) 68, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Born on July 12, 1947 in Dutchtown, La. She was loved by all who knew her and will forever live in our hearts. She touched everyone around her with her kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness. She was a wonderful wife and mother who guided her family with quiet strength and determination. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Darrel Hudson Sr., 3 children: Lori Hudson Plauche, Ashton Hudson (Mignon) Lindsey Hudson Boudreaux, 3 stepchildren: Darrel Hudson Jr., Karl Hudson (Renee), and Dawn Hudson Martinez (Sonny). Grandchildren: Raelyn, Gregory, Nicole, Bliss, Ella, Trey and Alexa. Step grandchildren: Joshua, Nathan, Kristina and Emily. Two sisters: Marlene Dupiere and Nellwyn Lavigne and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Melvin and Vesta (Melancon) Smith. Visitation will take place at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, La. on Wed. May 11th from 5-9pm. Christian Burial Mass will be held on Thurs.
