Ann Rachal Bihm

A native of Port Arthur, Texas and resident of Prairieville, she passed away in her home on May 11, 2012 after a courageous two and a half year battle with lung cancer. She was 60 years old, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a sergeant in the US Air Force who served from 1973-1977. She was born April 19, 1952, the eldest daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Helen Rachal. She is survived by her loving husband, Blake Louis Bihm; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Bihm and Mike Dixon; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason Paul and Kelly LeBlanc Bihm, Joshua Blake and Catherine Font Bihm, and Joseph Patrick and Amy Richardson Bihm; three sisters, Susan Rachal DeLoache, Jane Rachal Myers, and Julie Rachal Deslatte; two brothers, James Rachal and Thomas Rachal; and six grandchildren, Rachal Frase Dixon, Lily Kate Dixon, Paige Elizabeth Bihm, Reagan Aline Bihm, Blake Isom Bihm, and Weston Ray Bihm. Preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Mary Helen Rachal. A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Oak Lane Memorial Park.
