Anna M. Dixon

Anna M. Dixon passed away on August 15, 2024 at the age of 85. A lifelong resident of Ascension Parish. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Mother of Teresa Dixon, Monica Mosby, Dion Dixon (Marcelle) and Julie Savoy (Ricky). Grandmother of Seth Mosby (Jessica), Kalyn Mosby, Lindsey Carr (Matt), Blake Dixon (Samantha), Lauren LeBlanc, Jake Dixon (Eva), Alayna Dixon, Victoria Dixon, Wyatt Savoy and Morgan Savoy. Great-grandmother of Charli Mosby, James Carr, Josalee Dixon, Cate Carr, Piper Dixon, Emerie Dixon and Ruby Carr. She is also survived by her sister Amanda Jones, many family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Gordon Dixon, parents Alfred and Nazida Mayers, sisters Quemine “Jimmie” Zumo, Joanna Douglas and Mary Hunt, son-in-law Randy W. Bryant and nephew Jeffery Douglas.

Anna was a homemaker for many years, she then became a librarian and went on to work at Cal’s Bakery. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading books and telling a good story. Anna loved watching her sports especially LSU and the Saints. Her warm smile, big hug and sassy comebacks will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
