A ceremony celebrating the life of Tiger Blackwell will be held at 11am Saturday, October 23, at Ourso Funeral Home Gonzales, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until the time of the service. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home off of Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Brad Williams, Brady Blackwell, Conway LeBlanc, Damon Sims, Jason Williams, Keith Babin, Ronnie Walters, Taylor Walters and Honorary Pallbearers, Roger "Butch" Cox, Caleb Bourgeois and numerous nieces and nephews. Tiger was born on September 17, 1971 in Baton Rouge and departed this life into the arms of Jesus on October 14, 2021. He was a beloved father, friend, husband, and wealth management advisor. He was an avid sports fan and collector, and loved his LSU tigers. He enjoyed music, spending time with his children, and helping those surrounding him in the community. He is preceded in death by his parents Arlan Blackwell and Margaret Ann Ott. He is survived by his faithful wife of 25 years, Kayla Blackwell and his two children, Kate Blackwell (22) and Brady Blackwell (15). Also survived by his six sisters, Beth Blackwell LaFave, Deborah Blackwell Schmid, Dinah Ott Sims, Gina Ott Alvaro, Sally Ott Lampton, and Terri Blackwell Leblanc, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
