

Arlis “Dwight” Crozier, a native of Mt. Pisgah, AR and resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the age of 80 years old. Dwight served as a US Marine for 4 years. He was a very proud and patriotic man who loved his country tremendously. Dwight was a loving and kind hearted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He often enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and would take them out for pizza on Friday nights. Dwight had a green thumb and loved working in his garden or landscaping. He liked to watch old Western movies and most of all, traveling and spending any moment he could with his loving wife. Dwight is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Margie Sheldon Crozier; son, Keith Allen Crozier and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Nina Crozier Cuti and husband, Jonas and Jonathan Keith Crozier and wife, Angelle; great-grandchildren, Kane, Titan, Gracie, Landri, Layton, Jordyn, and Jaxon; sisters, Joyce Parker and Sherry Wynn and Velda Sibley. Brother Gary Crozier. Dwight is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Nina Crozier and brothers, Dale and Ronnie Crozier. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales from 9am until a Memorial Service celebrating Dwight’s life at 11am.
