Audrey Abadie Chauvin

Audrey Abadie Chauvin, 84, a native and resident of Edgard, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, in Edgard. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene Chauvin Sr. She was the daughter of the late Philomene Roussel Abadie and Louis Benoit Abadie. She was the mother of four sons and their spouses, Darryl Sr. and Sheila Chauvin, Eugene Jr. "Tunny" and Barbara Chauvin, Barry and Kathy Chauvin and Bryan and Nadine Chauvin, and five daughters and their spouses, Diane and Dale Bruce, Paula and Johnny Berthelot, Jane and Frank LeBoeuf, Carrie Becnel, and Anne and Myron Reulet. She was the sister of Curtis, Wade and Julius Abadie, and the late Mary Deryl Seemann, grandmother of 19 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 17 great- grandchildren. Visitation at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, on Friday, Aug. 13, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon, with the Rev. Michael Miceli, celebrant.
