Barbara Marie LeBlanc

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Norris Melancon and Rowena “Nanite” Melancon, brother, Ted Melancon, sister, Betty Savoy, and daughter-in-law, Torri LeBlanc. She is survived by her children, Gilda Bourgeois (Neil Sr), Bart LeBlanc (Torri), Tressie Richard (Phil), two brothers, Norris (Charlene), Daryl, sister, Juancita Babin (Jerry “Brother”), her grandchildren, Shauntell, Crystal, Roy, Jerrika, Sadie, Neil Jr, Austin, Megan, and great-grandchildren, Abbie, Westin, Emma, Brady, Orion, Cameron, London, Zaiden, Heidi, Jesse, Marie, Charlotte, and Adelyn.

Pallbearers are Micah Berteau, Jason Ledet, Neil Bourgeois Jr, Roy Cook Jr, Austin Schatzle, Jack Brumfield, Ted Melancon, Cody Trabeau.

Visitation will take place at St. Anne Catholic Church in Sorrento, LA on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 9:00 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM, with a Committal Service to follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
