Bella Marie Kelley

A former long time resident of Port Vincent, and resident of Gonzales, she passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the age of 97. She was born June 28, 1915. Bella loved cooking, enjoying family functions, and camping on their houseboat. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Adrian and Joan Kelley of Galvez, daughter-in-law Doris Powers Kelley; brother Whitney Hernandez, Lillian Alabama; 3 sisters Bessie Lambert, Baton Rouge, Mable Poche, Prairieville, Sophie Decote Gonzales; 6 Grandchildren Tina Kelley, Lynette Anderson, Dara Gauthreau, Eric Kelley, Adrian "Scoot" Kelley Jr, Julie Kelley, 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Walter H. Kelley; parents Jeff and Faustine Daigle Hernandez; son Hardy J. Kelley; sister Esma Higgins; brothers Nelcon Hernandez, Roy Hernandez. Pallbearers will be Eric, Jeff, and Scoot Kelley, Joshua Holton, Brad Bercegeay, Brian Foster. Visitation will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 16, 2013 celebrated by Fr Ruben Reynolds.
