Billy Wayne Hollis

Billy Wayne Hollis, age 87, of Gonzales, Louisiana, formerly of Hamburg, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Billy retired from CF Industries, where he served as superintendent.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially at the camp he built in Milo, Arkansas, where many treasured memories were made.

Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roby and Nannie Jane Hollis; parents, Marion “Nig” and Ulner Hollis; and his sister, Evelyn Hollis Taylor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Shirley Ann Hollis; his children, Genia Crawford and husband Wendell, Shelia Templet and husband Brent and Brad Hollis (Jan Gordon); his grandchildren, Rachel Crawford Linton, Tyler Crawford, Jared Templet, Jaci Templet, and Randi Hollis; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Marilyn Hollis Chambliss and Glenda Hollis Wood, along with numerous extended family members and friends.
