As many of our returning Soldiers, Brady also had PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). He developed seizures after brain surgery from a misdiagnosed brain tumor and suffered a broken heart from the loss of his older brother, Dustin. When Brady's life hit rock bottom, he fought back and survived. He was doing great and was living each day by the Word of our Lord. At the time of his death, Brady had plans to counsel and help other distraught Veterans, as was done by so many caring individuals for him. However, he had a fatal seizure when God called him Home. With sincere hearts, we express our gratitude to the Biloxi VA Medical Center doctors and staff, his earthly angel from West Virginia, Cindy Ward, and Clarabelle's foster family, The Bassets, also from WV. Brady's motto had become: "Fall down seven times, get up eight." Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge. -Psalm 62:5-7.
