A loving husband, devoted father, and great friend, Brian passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the age of 56 at his home in Prairieville. He was a Sales Manager with Commonwealth Brands. Brian had graduated from Chalmette High School and the University of New Orleans. He was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
He is survived by his adoring wife of 30 years, Ann Bennett Gogarty; parents, Dolores “Dody” Murray Levis and Elton “Yogi” Levis; daughter, Abby Christine Gogarty; son, Bennett Joseph Gogarty; and sisters, Debra Simoneaux and husband, Kenny and Christa Levis Ducote.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Marion Murray, Elton, Sr. and Roberta Levis and Melvin, Sr. and Eleanora Gogarty.
The family will be receiving visitors on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales from noon until funeral services at 4 pm. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
