Carol Ann Perniciaro Bercegeay

Carol Ann Perniciaro Bercegeay passed away on October 24, 2022 at the age of 85. She has been a longtime resident of Saint Amant, La where she was a dedicated homemaker for her family. Her cooking and conversations will surely be missed. She is preceded in death by her husband Carbet F. Gautreau, her parents Joseph Perniciaro and Lillian Perniciaro Raffray and her great-grandchild Brianna Bercegeay. She is survived by her children; Carla LeBlanc, Ricky Bercegeay Sr. (Johnette), Allen Bercegeay and her sister Jeanette (Janet) Perniciaro Morrelli (Owen) and her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family members. Carol will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank the staff of Gonzales Healthcare, the hospice workers, as well as Ashely Bercegeay (Damion), Emily Arnold (Bill) and Cassie Felps & family for all of their compassion and continued help with Carol’s care. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Bill Arnold, Trevor Theriot, Damian Quamme, Timmy Worthy, Brent Templet, Shawn Bercegeay and Joey Lessard.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 1:00PM. The visitation will begin at 9:00AM until the time of the service. The interment will follow at Galvez Pentecostal Cemetery.
