Carolyn Ann Soileau Brouillette

A native of Lettsworth and resident of Prairieville, Carolyn passed from this life on Friday, September 28, 2012 as the result of a tragic automobile accident. She was 56 years old. She is survived by her loving husband, Gaylord Brouillette; two sons, Gaylord Paul Brouillette Jr. and Shawn Derek Brouillette and wife Colleen; four grandchildren, Hailey Brouillette, Alexis Brouillette, and Nicholas Brouillette, all of Prairieville, and Dillan Mallette, of Vancleave, MS; four sisters, Mona Reed and husband Jerry, of Pascagoula, MS, Debra Peavy and husband Charles, of Livingston, Dana Bordelon, of Livingston, and Tonya Hardy and husband Michael, of Livingston; two brothers, Darryl Wayne Soileau, of Prairieville, and Jim Soileau and wife Stephanie, of Pascagoula, MS. Preceded in death by her parents, Fabous “T Neg” and Ethel Rae Gautreaux Soileau; and a brother John Paul Soileau. A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Jerry Reed. Burial will follow in Oak Lane Memorial Park, Prairieville. Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all and will be greatly missed by us all!
