

Charles spent most of his working career as a Safety Coordinator with Vulcan Chemicals and was highly respected for his dedication and strong work ethic. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve. He was also a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and held HAZMAT certifications throughout his career.
Charles enjoyed the simple things in life that brought him joy, especially LSU Football, camping, and spending time with those he loved most. He will be remembered for his love of family, his quiet strength, and the many memories he created with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Marie Guillory Babin; his three sons, Bryant Babin (Anna), Corey Babin (Angie), and Kyle Babin; his brother, Percy Babin; and his cherished grandchildren, Kylah Babin, Cole Babin, Brae Babin, Christopher Babin, Blaire Babin, and Bella Babin.
He is preceded in death by his parents Percy Louis Babin Sr. and Rita Babin.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Babin, Corey Babin, Bryant Babin, David Babin, Brae Babin, Cole Babin, and Christopher Babin.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the nurses and caretakers who lovingly cared for Charles throughout his illness.
Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 LA Highway 429, St. Amant, Louisiana 70774, on June 3, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.
Funeral Mass will be begin at 10:30 a.m. and interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Mausoleum.
