Mr. Charles "Rick" Edward Trichel

Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales from 9:30 am until service time.

A native of Monroe and resident of Prairieville, Rick passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10 am at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Massey Trichel; daughters, Doretta Trichel, Celeste Goodwin and husband Billy; son, Kevin Trichel; grandchildren, Kyle Trichel and wife Karen, Bruce Latiolais, Matthew Goodwin and Conner Goodwin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sula Mae Long Dear and Freeman Trichell; sisters, Lynda Elee Brown, JoAnn Ferrell and brother, Billy Ray Trichel.

Rick served as president of 450 Hunting Club for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Rick also belonged to Painters Local Union.
