

Christine “Tina” Mathews, born December 9, 1959, passed away on March 17, 2026. Tina was a remarkable woman whose greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family, each of whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.
Known for her kindness, honesty, and unwavering love, Tina was a steady source of strength. She carried this resilience with her until the very end. She was always ready to listen, offer guidance, and support her family and friends through life’s challenges. She was the rock for so many, and her impact on those around her is immeasurable. Tina will be missed beyond words, but her memory will live on through her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Ringe Sr. and Peggy A. Ringe; her brothers, John C. Ringe Jr. “Dugga,” Michael Ringe “Mike,” and Charles Ringe “Chuck”; and her sister-in-law, Sherry Ringe.
Tina is survived by her loving husband, Leonard Mathews, who cared for and supported her until the end of her days. She is also survived by her siblings, Melanie Day, David Ringe, Patrick Ringe, Jeffrey Ringe, and Jennifer Gillette, as well as her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Donald Day, Dawn Ringe, Laura Ringe, Gary Gillette, Oma Ringe, Kathy Ringe, and Penny Ringe.
Her family also includes her children and children by marriage: her son Jonathon Seaton, and her daughter Rebecca Tuminski and her husband London Tuminski, along with their children, Carson, Aubrey, and Elijah Tuminski; Richie and Chrissy Seaton, and their sons Alex and Tristen Seaton; Jeremy and Alicia Seaton, and their son Tripp Seaton; Shauntel and Russell Parker and their children, Kamie and her wife Whitney Parker, along with their son Joseph Parker; Kaylee Parker and her fiancé Tyler; Kelly Ayo and her partner Ben, along with their children Emma, Khloe, Drake, and Erin; and Thomas and Randi Mathews, along with their children Leni and Max Mathews.
A service to celebrate Tina’s life will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, Louisiana, on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
