Cindy's life was adorned with the vibrant colors of her favorite flowers, especially tulips, reflecting her love for gardening. She had a green thumb that could turn any space into a blossoming oasis. Her dedication to nurturing life extended beyond her garden to include her beloved family, friends, and her dog, Chip, a faithful companion who shared in her joys. Cindy found joy in the art of cooking. Her kitchen was a place of creativity and laughter, where she crafted delicious meals for her family and friends. Sports held a special place in Cindy's heart, with a deep-rooted love for LSU and the Saints. Game days were not just events to her; they were moments of shared excitement, cheers, and camaraderie. Cindy's enthusiasm for sports brought people together, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of watching a game with her. Fantasy football was not just a game for Cindy; it was a shared experience that brought family and friends closer. The competition was lighthearted, and the camaraderie formed around the virtual gridiron added an extra layer of joy to her life. Elle, her 18-year-old neighbor, held a special place in Cindy's heart. The bond they shared was like that of a mother and daughter, a relationship that enriched both of their lives. Cindy's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, leaving an indelible mark on those she embraced as her own. Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Michael Melugin Sr., her son, Michael Melugin and his wife, Callie; and her grandchildren, Alyse, Kane, and Dani.
