Cody was born December 12, 1978 in Duncan, Oklahoma and passed way February 7, 2020 in Paincourtville, Louisiana. Cody grew up in Fletcher, Oklahoma and graduated from Fletcher High School. He spent four years in the Navy. Afterwords, he worked as a pipefitters throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida. Cody loved working on his truck, going to bike rallies, singing, hanging out with Sophia and friends, and shopping. He always dressed to impress. His 2 favorite things were batman and OU. Cody is survived by his parents: Bobby and Barbara Hicks of Duncan, Oklahoma; Two brothers: Paul Hicks and wife, Diane of Forestburg, TX, Austin Langford of Duncan, Ok; Two sisters: Dee Peneston and husband, Bob of Fulton, MO, Stacey Owens Lindsey and husband Chad of Comanche, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cody was preceded in death by his sister: Stephanie Hicks. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2:00 pm until a Celebration of Cody's Life at 3:00 pm at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA . On Monday, February 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM a Celebration of Cody's Life will be held at Bethesda Church of God, 201 S 15th St, Duncan, OK 73533.
